Glitz First National Bank Wedding
Following the ceremony for Alexis and Blake, we produced a glittering reception to celebrate the newlyweds!
The venue was chosen to honor the bride’s heritage as her great-grandfathers were strong influences in Oklahoma City’s design during the early part of the state’s history. We illuminated the historic First National Bank Lobby with glass bubbles suspended in air. Shimmering vessels with orchids, peonies and lilies dripped down metal stands all created by The Fleuriste.
The hall shimmered with light against the marble columns and gilded trees. We created intimate lounge settings with imported pieces and customized table draping. Varied centerpieces of leaves over metal graced each table with white dendrobium orchids, calla lilies, peonies and hydrangea. The centerpiece of the room was the 5-tier confection designed by Mishelle Handy featuring a crystal monogram and heirloom brooches gifted from the bride’s ancestors with roses and peonies. A lavish global strolling dinner representing the travels of both families was served including selections from every continent.
The Think Big Band and orchestra from Dallas entertained the crowd as they danced the night away. At midnight, the newlyweds descended the grand staircase with the band’s horn section leading the way to the tune of the Razorback fight song, a tribute to the beginning of their romance. Guests showered the couple with white rose petals as they made their way to a horse-drawn carriage. Scroll down to see these stunning images by Randy Coleman Photography!
