More than 800 attended the “Denim & Diamonds” themed 2019 gala at Norman, OK’s Riverwind Casino. The “Denim & Diamonds” event is part of the annual Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic, a two-day fundraiser featuring a celebrity golf tournament and music-infused gala for the Toby Keith Foundation and the OK Kids Korral. The OK Kids Korral is a home-away-from-home for pediatric cancer patients getting treatment at The Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center. We are honored to be part of this organization’s mission!

The themed event included dinner, live and silent auctions and the music of country music singer and songwriter, Eddy Raven, among others. Opening the gala with Keith were 12-year-old Emma Dray and her mother, Megan. Emma spoke to the audience, thanking them for giving her another family through their support of OK Kids Korral. 

The room brought that cozy country feel. We alternated between blue and brown linens with silver chairs from Chameleon Chair Collection. Tall or bud arrangements from New Leaf Florist were placed at each table along with custom one-of-a-kind Toby Keith guitar centerpieces for VIP tables. They were a crowd favorite! 

The Sweet 16 Golf Classic raised $1.3 million for the Toby Keith Foundation’s OK Kids Korral. The 2019 event was attended by celebrities like Bob Stoops, Troy Aikman, Clint Black and Ron White. The 17th annual Toby Keith and Friends Golf Classic has been postponed to later this year in light of the coronavirus pandemic. We’re looking forward to being part of the next one!
